DC Servo Motor Controller
This trainer designed for versatile Applications / Experiments mentioned below. It consists of(i) a PWM Chopper Drive using MOSFET (ii) DC Servo Motor (iii) Speed Sensor (v) PI Loop for speed. This trainer system is a compact & advanced version for class room experiment setup for the students to operate and study a practical speed measurement using optical sensor and speed control system.
FEATURES:
• One 12V PMDC Motor mounted on a open frame. • Speed Range: 0 to 1500 RPM. • Speed Sensor fixed on the frame. - Photo interrupter with optical Encoders. • One F/V converter is provided to convert the pulses to voltage output. • Speed controller provided to select - Proportional circuit. - Proportional plus Integral circuit. • One 3½ digit display to display the speed of the DC Servo motor / set value. • A switch provided to select the reference or the actual speed. • All important signals are terminated at sockets. So that, the student can monitor / measure the signals using CRO, DVM, Frequency counter etc.

Heat Pipe Apparatus:
Heat pipe is an interesting device, which is used to transfer heat from one location to another.
The apparatus consists of three pipes, viz. A heat pipe, copper pipe and stainless steel pipe. Ail the pipes have same physical dimensions. Copper and stainless steel pipes serve the purpose of comparison of heat pipe performance. All pipes are mounted vertically with a band heater at lower end and water filled heat sink at upper end. Nearly isothermal operation of heat pipe is clearly visualized from longitudinal temperature distribution of the pipe.
SPECIFICATIONS:
1.Heat pipe – Stainless Steel pipe, 25 mm O.D., 450 mm. Long. Sealed at both ends, evacuated and filled partially with distilled water – one No. 2.Copper and stainless steel pipe of same size as that of heat pipe – one each. 3.Equal capacity heater at bottom end of each pipe. 4.Water filled heat sinks at upper end of each pipe.Measurements and controls

Free Force Vortex Apparatus
DESCRIPTION:-
The experimental set up consist of a circular transparent cylindrical tank in which four circumferential jets have been placed along the circumference of the cylinder near its bottom which helps in the formation of free vortex. It is assumed that the torque exerted by these jets is negligible. The Orifice is reducing bush so that a reduced diameter can be investigated. The plate can also be rotated with the help of a variable speed motor so that the cylinder rotates about its vertical Axis with the help of a V belt and forced vortex is formed. Conditions wear allowed to steady state and the depth of flow at any particular point was observed not to change over a period of time. The experimental procedure involves measurement of resulting free surface that represents the variation of the sum of the pressure and datum head.SCOPE OF EXPERIMENTS:-

Description
Auto Karl Fischer Titrimeter – 761 is an automatic apparatus designed to carry out Karl Fischer Titrations for accurate determination of moisture content in various samples. The instrument comprises of two units i.e CONTOL UNIT & TITRATION UNIT. The CONTROL UNIT controls the complete automatic titration. On pressing the START button, the titration starts and the KF reagent is added automatically from the burette, through a solenoid valve into the titration vessel. As soon as the end point is reached, the titration is stopped automatically by the Control Unit. It has fully solid state circuitry incorporating advanced IC technology. Titration unit contains the magnetic stirring mechanism and the solenoid valve assembly. The cabinet is designed to serve as a titration stand.
