Water Cooling Tower Apparatus
The apparatus consists of a forced draught, counter flow type-cooling tower. A blower supplies cooling air. Air enters the tower at the bottom. Hot water is, obtained from a geyser. Hot water is sprayed over the mesh packing through the nozzles and it flows downwards. Evaporative cooling of water occurs due to the current of air and water gets cooled. This student can study the operation of cooling tower and calculate the energy balance.

Cooling tower, fabricated of M.S. Sheets, 200 X 200 mm. cross section, 1.2m. height with Perspex front. Wire mesh packing is provided in the tower. Geyser – 3 Kw Capacity to provided hot water. Centrifugal blower, 1 HP capacity to force air through the tower. Multichannel Digital Temperature indicator to measure temperature at various points. Rotameter to measure inlet water flow. Measuring tank to measure outlet water flow. Calibrated orifice and water manometer to measure airflow. Arrangement to measure dry and wet bulb temperatures of air at 5 intermediate stations. Bar Breaking Apparatus
Description
A heavy cast iron stand slotted to carry a stout iron bar, with ten cast iron breaking bars. Comprising a heavy cast iron frame 340 x 120 x 100 mm with slotted end pillars to carry a stout iron bar. The bar is threaded at one end for a large tensioning nut and has holes at the other end to accommodate the cast iron breaking bars. Supplied complete with ten breaking bars.

Cam Analysis Apparatus
The apparatus is designed to study the cam profiles and performance of cam and follower system. The apparatus consists of a shaft supported by ball bearings upon which three different types of cams can be mounted.
The push rod for follower is supported vertically, which can adopt three different types of followers. Cams and followers can be changed easily. A variable speed motor rotates the cam. A dial gauge permits plotting of follower displacement with respect to cam position. By operating the system at different Speeds, jump speed can be found and also the effect of weight and spring force on jump speed can be studied. Jump can be visualized also with the help of stroboscope (it is not supplied With the product).
SPECIFICATIONS OF CAM ANALYSIS APPARATUS:
