Impact Of Jet On Vanes Apparatus
DESCRIPTION:-
The Set-up consists of two sided clear fabrication. Water is fed through a nozzle and discharged vertically to strike a target carried on a stem, which extends through the cover. A weight carrier is mounted on the upper end of the stem. The dead weight of the moving parts is counter balanced by a compression spring. The vertical force exerted on the target plate is measured by adding the weights supplied to the weight pan until the mark on the weight pan corresponds with the level gauge. A total of two targets are provided a flat plat and a hemispherical cup.EXPERIMENTS:-

Description
An all new 'VERSATILE' space efficient, elegant looking, sturdy and compact system for insect storage supported with care, safety-privacy vis-a-vis being compact to accommodate large quantity in less space, easy to handle, convenient to monitor-sort. The system contains Compactor units which can be arranged to suite your requirements, according to the space available and above all can be secured with a single lock. The metallic compactor units made of mild steel with powder coated paint finish can be moved for handling the specimens and again joined to be locked only on the end unit and all units are secured. Showcases are arranged in rows of 20 each with two rows in each unit. End units are for 40 showcases whereas the intermediate units accommodate showcases back to back, i.e., 80 showcases and again the end unit for 40 showcases. Intermediate units can be increased as per space requirement. There are options for showcases, metallic or wooden. Size options of 53x45x7.5cm. or 45x45x7.5cm. or 45x30x6.5cm. with pinning EVA sheet is base, provision for insecticide, puller knobs, index card holder etc.
Venturimeter Orificemeter Calibration Set Up
DESCRIPTION:-
The apparatus consists of two pipelines emerging out from a common manifold. One pipeline contain a Venturimeter, second contains an Orifice. The pressure tapings from the Venturimeter and Orificemeter are taken to differential manometer to measure pressure difference. The Venturimeter and Orificemeter are connected in parallel and anyone of them can be put in operation by operating valves provided at the downstream. These valves can also regulate the flow. Present Set-up is self contained water re-circulating unit, provided with a sump tank and a centrifugal pump. Flow control valve and by-pass valve are fitted in water line to conduct the experiment on different floe rate. Flow rate of water is measured with the help of measured with the help of measuring tank and stop watch.EXPERIMENTS:-

The apparatus consists of a plain steel shaft encased in a bearing and directly driven by a small electric motor. The bearing is freely supported on the shaft and sealed at motor end. BOD Incubator
Specification
BOD Incubator is designed for low temperature incubation and determination of Bio Chemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D). The BOD Incubator comes with a double wall construction. The Inner chamber is made of richly anodized aluminum or highly polished stainless steel with two / three removable perforated shelves. The exterior chamber of the BOD Incubator is made of thick mild steel sheet duly finished in enamel paint. Outer double wall door is provided with magnetic gasket and lock & key arrangement. The inner door is made out of clear acrylic sheet allowing inspection of material in the chamber without disturbing the chamber temperature. Door operated inner illumination has been provided. The gap between walls of equipment are filled with glass wool for temperature insulation. The cabinet is mounted on castors. The temperature in the BOD Incubator is controlled by a sensitive thermostat from 5oC to 50oC ± 1oC. For lower temperature working, a standard cooling unit with sealed compressor with protective devices has been provided below the chamber for safe and efficient working. Heating arrangement has made within the chamber for higher temperature. Critical Heat Flux Apparatus
The apparatus demonstrates the regimes of pool boiling. The test section consists of a test wire surrounded by water of constant temperature. The surface temperature of the test wire is heated by passing current through it. Due to the temperature difference between the wire surface and surroundings, the difference regimes are observed till the burnout point.
