Generation Of Involute Gear Tooth Profile
This board illustrates the process of cutting of involutes Gear Teeth, by use of rack type cutter It consists of 3 white acrylic discs A, B, C. having pitch circle diameter 450 mm, 300 mm & 200 mm respectively. A gear tooth profile with module 25mm can be traced out on a peace of paper placed between disc and cutter. An affect of Interference and Undercutting on correct profile of gear tooth can be studied from the profiles traced.
Curved Member Apparatus
Apparatus consists of a steel bar which is used to make the different curved members Viz. circle, semicircle with straight arm, a quadrant of a circle and quadrant of a circle with straight arm. The bottom ends of the members are fixed to the base. Under the application of load at free end, its horizontal and vertical deflection can be measured with the help of dial gauges. A dial gauge with 25mm travel (with a magnetic base) is supplied with the apparatus. Apparatus to be supplied should be complete with a supporting stand and a set of weights.

Metacentric Height Apparatus
DESCRIPTION:-
A pontoon is allowed to float in a small tank having a transparent side. Removable steel strips placed in the model for the purpose of changing the weight of the model. Displacement of weight is measured with the help of a scale. By means of a pendulum (consisting of a weight suspended to a long pointer) the angle of tilt can be measured on a graduated arc. For tilting the ship model, a cross bar with two movable hangers is fixed on the model. Pendulum and graduated arc are suitably fixed at the center of the cross bar. Microprocessor Photo Colorimeter
Microprocessor Photo Colorimeter is a compact and easy to operate instrument for Photo Colorimeter analysis of any concentration.
The output is available on a 16 x 2 line alphanumeric backlit LCD display in terms of %Transmission (%T), Absorbance (Abs.), Concentration (Conc.) and K Factor.
This instrument has 100 sample storage memory and printer output facility for printing data with any dot matrix printer.
The use of microcontroller has made it extremely versatile and accurate instrument.
10 mm path length matched test tubes are used for sample and blank.
The use of high class standard wide range glass filters covering 400 to 700 nm give extremely good results.
The filter setting is controlled by a rotating disc having 8 filters.
An automatic shutter is provided to stop the light reaching the photocell, when test tube is not inserted in the tube holder.
This increases the life of photocell tremendously.
Facility has been provided to store the last K Factor and the standard concentration value.
User can also enter any known ‘Factor’ for a test, thereby eliminating the need to re-run the standards again and again.
