Light Kit
Description
Simple kit that helps explain students the principle of reflection and refraction. Using mirrors, lenses, acrylic prism set and a ray box, light can be reflected and refracted in different ways. The acrylic prism set includes a triangular, half-round, double convex and rectangular prism and two double concave prisms all packed in a wooden storage box. A Newton color disc is also provided with this set. The color disc illustrates an important property of light that white light is composed of seven colors. With instructions.

Kipps Apparatus
Kipp's Apparatus, made of Polyethylene has three main portions.
The top portion is fitted with thistle funnel and a bulb structure through which dilute acid can be poured, which reacts with a metal sulphide in the base of the apparatus.
H.S gas then evolved collects in the fitted with a self-lubricating PTFE plug.
The base is provided with a residual outlet fitted with a cap for easy cleaning.

Description
Students can investigate the relationship between the intensity of transmitted light and the angle of rotation of two polarizing filters. A graduated cartridge containing two polarizing filters allows students to observe the change in intensity as they are rotated relative to one another. The analyzer allows quantitative readings to be taken using a voltmeter at five degree intervals as the polarizing filters are rotated from minimum to maximum transmission. The output from the analyzer changes linearly with light intensity and so the resulting data can be used to verify Malus Law. Includes instructions.

Two Stage Air Compressor Test Rig
The test rig comprises of a two-stage air compressor fitted with an air tank with orifice, pressure gauges 9 an energy meter to measure the input & a Temperature indicator measures the temperatures at various points. The compressor is mounted on air receiver along with the motor, and is provided with air relief valve (safety) and a pressure switch. The unit determines volumetric efficiency and isothermal efficiency at various discharge pressures

Generation Of Involute Gear Tooth Profile
This board illustrates the process of cutting of involutes Gear Teeth, by use of rack type cutter It consists of 3 white acrylic discs A, B, C. having pitch circle diameter 450 mm, 300 mm & 200 mm respectively. A gear tooth profile with module 25mm can be traced out on a peace of paper placed between disc and cutter. An affect of Interference and Undercutting on correct profile of gear tooth can be studied from the profiles traced.
