Sterility Test Apparatus (S.S Manifold)
It consists of Stainless steel holders in the manifold of 3 of 6 to hold 47 mm dia membrane filters, the tops of the holders are connected to the outlets of flushing tube with silicone tubing and glass top cock.
A vacuum resistant flask or wolf bottle must be placed between the manifold and vacuum pump.
(Supplied without wolf bottle and vacuum/pressure pump).
These units are used for sterility testing when the membranes filter is to be removed from the holder for incubation in culture media.
Filtration area is 12.5 cm and has a holding capacity of 250ml.
Though the only vacuum is required for filtration, some pressure is required for flushing liquids.

Wankel Engine Model
The model demonstrates the principle, operation. It is cutaway to show the internal constructional details. Unlike other engines the rotary piston engine avoids reciprocating parts. The power pistons an arch like triangular rotor which on rotating generates an epitrochoid. Mounted on metal base with printed diagrams.
400W Smart Grid Experimental Setup
This consists of 2 Microgrid, one 400W& 200W of power generation connected to a main Power Grid with all the components needed to convert a traditional Grid to a Smart so that many experiments can be conducted on this “Smart Grid”. 3Φ, 1KW isolation transformer with power input from utility grid will act as main grid to which 2 Microgrid will be connected through synchronizing panel. Surface Tension Balance, Searle’s
A horizontal frame is mounted on a rod fitted to a base & carries a steel wire stretched across it, the tension of which can be adjusted by a tightening screw.
A light metal pointer with a counterpoise is attached to the centre of the wire clamp.
A pan is hung from a notch in the pointer and has a hook at its underside from which can be suspended a light weight rectangular frame or a metal clip to hold a micro slide edge.
The tip of the pointer moves over a graduated scale. With rectangular wire frame, slide clip, six micro slides & 3 meters of spare wire.
Critical Heat Flux Apparatus
The apparatus demonstrates the regimes of pool boiling. The test section consists of a test wire surrounded by water of constant temperature. The surface temperature of the test wire is heated by passing current through it. Due to the temperature difference between the wire surface and surroundings, the difference regimes are observed till the burnout point.
Specifications:

A vacuum gauge is provided to indicate vacuum level which is connected to isolation valve to disconnect the source.
Thus avoiding the need of continues running of the vacuum pump.
