Linear Expansion
Description
Apparatus is fitted on heavy channel base, at one end of which is an adjusting screw, at the opposite end is a micrometer screw reading to 0.01 mm for measuring the expansion. Supplied with one each of aluminium, brass and iron expansion rods but WITHOUT thermometer. Consisting of metal rod 500 mm in length and 4.5 mm dia. enclosed in a well - lagged, metal tube with three tubules for steam inlet, outlet and thermometer. The metal rod to be investigated is supported in the steam jacket by detachable rubber bungs situated at each end of the tube.
Rotary Pipette Stand
Moulded in Polypropylene, the unique Rotary Pipette Stand holds a maximum of 94 pipettes and rotates on a central vertical axis for convenient selection of any particular pipette.
The lower rotating disc has four concentric troughs with tapered sides and open bottoms that cradle the pipette tips protectively and permit water drops to run off.
The upper disc has a grid pattern concentric with the bottom disc and keeps the pipettes vertical.
Liquids draining off the pipettes are retained on the top of the stationary base by the outer ring.
Our Rotary Pipette Stand can be easily disassembled and reassembled.

Signal Generator, Digital
This signal generator is a useful test instrument capable of generating multiple waveform and offers excellent waves shape, signal linearity, waveform symmetry and frequency range with selection of sine, triangular and square wave and amplitude variable 10 V peak to peak. 1 Hz to 100 kHz in five decade ranges selected by rotary switch named as frequency multiplier. Sine, triangular and square waveforms selected by push switch with LED indication. Smart Energy Meter
A Smart Energy Meter based on Analog Devices IC has been developed to build an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). The AMI system facilitates networking capability via GSM, ZigBee and ModBus. A Smart Energy Meter Development system has been developed by us, which consists of 1φ/3φ measurement section, a 32-bit ARM controller, wireless modules and powerful software. Description
This apparatus spins an electrically charged brass wheel spin, without the aid of a motor. When the wheel electrified by a voltage source (battery), the slotted brass disc sets up eddy currents throughout the structure. Theramal Conductivity Of Insulating Slabs
The apparatus consists of a slab assembly. The main Heater and a radial guard heater are sandwiched between copper plates. The specimen in the form of slabs of equal thickness are placed on either sides of heaters and cooling plates through which water is circulated are on the other Sides of the specimen. The radial guard heater ensures all heat of the main heater to pass axially through the specimens which is collected by cooling plates. By knowing the temperatures and Heat input, thermal conductivity of specimen can be calculated. The test set up is enclosed in an enclosure with insulation inside to provide undisturbed Surroundings. The design style of the apparatus is similar to as recommended in INDIAN standard. The difference is in sizes.
