Description

Mechanical Heat Pump Trainer
Heat Pump is a device to pump heat from one source to another. The heat obtained by heat pump is more than that could be obtained by direct electrical heating. The apparatus consists of refrigeration system with water cooled shell and coil type evaporator and condenser.

Description
The basic set-up of the colorimeter is: LED light source: Produces polychromatic light over the entire visible region, 45 Broad spectrum filter: The colorwheel has nine different filters. The filter employed is selected by wavelength. Each filter will produce monochromatic light at a specified peak wavelength with a bandpass of 20 mm. The filters enable the user to perform tests from 400 to 680 nm. Cuvette Holder: It holds the inserted cuvette during testing. It is imperative the cuvette be consistently oriented in the holder. Round cells usually have orientation markings to correctly position the cuvette. Detector: A silicon photo diode is used as the detector. The photo detector current will change as a function of light energy. Three Hinged Arch Apparatus
The mild steel model has a span of 100cm and rise 25cm, with hinges at supports and crown. One of the ends should rests on rollers. Along the horizontal span of the arch various points are marked at equidistant for the application of load. This being a statically determinate structure, the horizontal thrust developed under the action of any load system can be theoretically calculated and will also be measured directly by neutralizing the outward movement of the roller end. A dial gauge with 25mm travel (with magnetic base) may be supplied with the apparatus. Apparatus to be supplied should be complete with a supporting stand and a set of weights.
