Centrifugal Blower Test Rig
The apparatus consists of a spiral casing, which houses an impeller. Impeller is driven by a variable speed D.C. motor. Three, interchangeable impellers, viz. Radial forward and Backward curved vanes are provided with the unit. Digital indicators are provided for speed of impeller. A venture provided measures the discharge. Thus students can evaluate the performance of different impellers at various speeds.

Three Hinged Arch Apparatus
The mild steel model has a span of 100cm and rise 25cm, with hinges at supports and crown. One of the ends should rests on rollers. Along the horizontal span of the arch various points are marked at equidistant for the application of load. Kipp's Apparatus, made of Polyethylene has three main portions.
The top portion is fitted with thistle funnel and a bulb structure through which dilute acid can be poured, which reacts with a metal sulphide in the base of the apparatus.
H.S gas then evolved collects in the fitted with a self-lubricating PTFE plug.
The base is provided with a residual outlet fitted with a cap for easy cleaning.
