OBJECTIVE:
To conduct the experiment of hydraulic bench, with separate experiential set ups i.e. Hydrostatic Pressure, Flow over Weirs, Bernoulli’s Theorem, Flow meter Demonstration, Impact of jet and Orifice Discharge etc. which are accessories of the Hydraulic Bench.DESCRIPTION OF APPARATUS:
The set up is a self-contained, water recirculation unit provided with a top tray, sump tank and a measuring tank. Drain valve and over-flow are provided on the sump tank. A centrifugal pump is fitted for water circulation. Flow control valve and bypass valve is fitted in water line to conduct the experiment at different flow rates. Flow rate of water is measured with the help of measuring tank and stop watch. Measuring tank is provided to measure the discharge. Drain valve is provided in the measuring tank to empty water in sump tank after measuring discharge. Separate level indicator and scale is provided to read the level of water in the measuring tank.UTILITIES REQUIRED:

It should be supported on two knife edge supports 70cm apart with a 30cm overhang on one side. Reciprocal theorem can be verified by direct measurements of the deflections of various points with the help of a dial gauge due to a load placed at the reciprocal points. Three Step Inductor
Description
This three step inductor consists of a coil of enamelled copper wire wound over an insulated spool. The coil consists of 4 layers of 200 turns each. The tappings at 200, 400 and 800 turns are brought out at 4 mm sockets. The output inductances at these tappings are as follows. Description
Dissolution rate test apparatus is designed to carry out simultaneously SIX TESTS of dissolution rate of tablets & capsules as per USP standards. Dissolution Rate Test Apparatus consists of water bath made of transparent acrylic fitted with an inbuilt water circulation system. Machine has a DUAL TEMP. SENSOR system which controls both water bath temperature within +/- 0.1º C & senses the temperature of jars. Mounted Joule Meter
Description
A domestic electricity meter adopted to operate single-phase 2, wire C1.2mAx8.33 A 12V 50 Hz. 0.01 rev./J and dials reading in joules. The meter is mounted on a wooden bench stand input and output socket terminals. The aluminium disc rotates once for every 100 Joules with the consumption recorded on three digits calibrated 100, 1000 and 10000 joules per division respectively. The instrument records a maximum of 99,900 Joules.
