BOD Incubator
Specification
BOD Incubator is designed for low temperature incubation and determination of Bio Chemical Oxygen Demand (B.O.D). The BOD Incubator comes with a double wall construction. The Inner chamber is made of richly anodized aluminum or highly polished stainless steel with two / three removable perforated shelves. The exterior chamber of the BOD Incubator is made of thick mild steel sheet duly finished in enamel paint. Outer double wall door is provided with magnetic gasket and lock & key arrangement. The inner door is made out of clear acrylic sheet allowing inspection of material in the chamber without disturbing the chamber temperature. Door operated inner illumination has been provided. The gap between walls of equipment are filled with glass wool for temperature insulation. The cabinet is mounted on castors. The temperature in the BOD Incubator is controlled by a sensitive thermostat from 5oC to 50oC ± 1oC. For lower temperature working, a standard cooling unit with sealed compressor with protective devices has been provided below the chamber for safe and efficient working. Heating arrangement has made within the chamber for higher temperature. Refrigeration Trainer Domestic Type
The unit enables students to study the various parameters affecting the performance of a domestic refrigerator. It consists of refrigeration cycle of domestic refrigerator, it consists a hermetically sealed compressor, air-cooled condenser, capillary tube and a natural convection type evaporator. The evaporator is fitted with a small heater to simulate different load conditions various measurements are provided so that power consumption, COP, theoretical and actual refrigerating effects refrigerant flow rate and effect of door opening on power consumption can be studied and also students can visualize automatic operation of unit using a thermostat.

Barlow Wheel
Description
This apparatus spins an electrically charged brass wheel spin, without the aid of a motor. When the wheel electrified by a voltage source (battery), the slotted brass disc sets up eddy currents throughout the structure. This electricity is then attracted to 4 strong neodymium magnets, causing the wheel to spin.

Description

DESCRIPTION:-
A pontoon is allowed to float in a small tank having a transparent side. Removable steel strips placed in the model for the purpose of changing the weight of the model. Displacement of weight is measured with the help of a scale. By means of a pendulum (consisting of a weight suspended to a long pointer) the angle of tilt can be measured on a graduated arc. For tilting the ship model, a cross bar with two movable hangers is fixed on the model. Pendulum and graduated arc are suitably fixed at the center of the cross bar. Sterility Test Apparatus (S.S Manifold)
It consists of Stainless steel holders in the manifold of 3 of 6 to hold 47 mm dia membrane filters, the tops of the holders are connected to the outlets of flushing tube with silicone tubing and glass top cock.
A vacuum resistant flask or wolf bottle must be placed between the manifold and vacuum pump.
(Supplied without wolf bottle and vacuum/pressure pump).
These units are used for sterility testing when the membranes filter is to be removed from the holder for incubation in culture media.
Filtration area is 12.5 cm and has a holding capacity of 250ml.
Though the only vacuum is required for filtration, some pressure is required for flushing liquids.
