Ripple Tank
Description :-
Transparent acrylic plastic ripple tank, supported in a sturdy plastic frame which has recesses to hold four legs with leveling feet.
The tank edges are shaped to minimize undesired reflections.
Tank has a drain hole closed by a rubber stopper.
With two light alloy uprights to carry a horizontal rippler support rod which is adjustable for height.
The ripple assembly, elastically suspended from the support rod, consists of a 4 – 6 V DC motor mounted on a wooden beam.
The motor has an eccentric weight which causes the beam to oscillate.
Two point sources are provided by two plastic spheres, each mounted on a right angle rod.
A metal rod is fixed centrally into a socket in one short side of the frame to afford support to the illuminant.
Overall size of the tank 580 x 500 x 80 mm, window area 370 x 280 mm, height of tank above bench level (with legs attached) approx. 375 mm.

Air Conditioning Trainer General Cycle Type
The unit consists of ducting fitted with various air conditioning components. Airflow is generated by an axial flow fan and in the airflow, heaters, cooling coil and steam humidifier connection is provided. Cooling circuit consists of a hermetic compressor; air cooled condenser, thermostatic expansion valve and evaporator (i.e. cooling coil). Measurements of various parameters Torn cooling cycle and heating cycle are provided and students can easily visualize and understand the basic principles of air conditioning.
SPECIFICATIONS:

Venturimeter Orificemeter Calibration Set Up
DESCRIPTION:-
The apparatus consists of two pipelines emerging out from a common manifold. One pipeline contain a Venturimeter, second contains an Orifice. The pressure tapings from the Venturimeter and Orificemeter are taken to differential manometer to measure pressure difference. The Venturimeter and Orificemeter are connected in parallel and anyone of them can be put in operation by operating valves provided at the downstream. These valves can also regulate the flow. Present Set-up is self contained water re-circulating unit, provided with a sump tank and a centrifugal pump. Flow control valve and by-pass valve are fitted in water line to conduct the experiment on different floe rate. Description
Helmholtz Coils are a special arrangement of coils that are placed in such a way as to generate a very uniform magnetic field between them when a current is applied. The strength of the magnetic field is proportional to the number of turns in the coils and the current applied to them. The Helmholtz Coils setup consists of two field coils mounted on a track to provide a uniform magnetic field between the coils. The proper separation for Helmholtz coils is marked on the track.
