Specifications
It is a double walled unit inner chamber made up of S.S. Sheet and outside of M.S. duly powder coated. The gap between the walls is fitted with special grade glass wool in order to avoid thermal losses. Concentric rings can be removed to accommodate containers of various sizes. Thermal Conductivity Of Liquid
Thermal conductivity of is an important engineering property. The apparatus uses guarded hot plate method for determining thermal conductivity. It consists of hot plate i.e. an electrical heater sandwiched between two plates. The heat loss from hot plate is prevented by using two guard heaters and heat of removes heat from liquid by circulation of water. Input to heaters the temperatures.

Wheatstone Bridge, Two Gap
Description
Comprising a resistance wire swg 24 stretched along a meter scale subdivided in mms and marked every cm. is clamped to stout brass plates so as to avoid end errors. A plated brass strip with 4 mm socket terminal is fitted along the meter rule to provide a two gap system for normal Wheatstone bridge work. Complete with jockey.

Ray Box
Description
To provide a simple means of producing single or multiple rays of light for use in elementary optics. Made of die-cast alloy, the ray box has an open front and vertical internal grooves to accommodate a slit plate and a cylindrical lens. Supplied complete with a metal plate having single and triple slits, a 12 V 24 W SBC line filament lamp and a lamp holder.

Glass tubes with vertical limbs contained within glass jackets approx. 460 x 25 mm height x diameter are closed by bungs and fitted with inlet and outlet tubes. Upper ends of these vertical limbs are angled on emergence from the jackets to produce two short, adjacent limbs placed against a silvered glass scale 0 to 12 cm x 1 mm.
