Description

Expansion bar is fixed to one upright and moves a pointer on the other, when heated With scale reading 0 to 90°, supplied with one each, aluminium, brass and iron expansion bars. Comprising two castmetal uprights linked by a pair of parallel plated metal support rods and supporting an expansion bar at the top. Supplied with expansion bars. Bar Breaking Apparatus
Description
To show the forces which can be exerted during thermal expansion or contraction. Comprising a heavy cast iron frame 340x120x100mm with slotted end pillars to carry a stout iron bar. The bar is threaded at one end for a large tensioning nut and has holes at the other end to accommodate the cast iron breaking bars. Supplied complete with ten breaking bars.

400W Smart Grid Experimental Setup
This consists of 2 Microgrid, one 400W& 200W of power generation connected to a main Power Grid with all the components needed to convert a traditional Grid to a Smart so that many experiments can be conducted on this “Smart Grid”. 3Φ, 1KW isolation transformer with power input from utility grid will act as main grid to which 2 Microgrid will be connected through synchronizing panel. Optionally a commercial 1KVA Grid Connected Solar Power Inverter can be added to this experimental setup. By adding 1KVA commercial solar inverter, when the experimental setup is not used by student, it could be used to generate power.
