MCT Box
MCT Boxes are moulded in polycarbonate and are therefore strong as well as autoclavable.
One size can hold 64 MCTs of 1.5 ml. & the other can hold 100 MXT's of 0.5 ml.
These MCT Boxes are designed to work at temperatures ranging from -190'C to + 121" C.
The transparent cover provides a good view of the contents inside & is numbered for better inventory control.

The Set-up consists of 2 pipes of different diameters, which are connected in parallel. Pressure tapings are provided on each pipe to measure the pressure losses with the help of a Differential Manometer. Control valves are fitted on each pipe, which enables to use one pipe at a time for experiment. Present set-up is self-contained water re-circulating unit, provided with a sump tank and a centrifugal pump etc. Flow control valve and by-pass valve are fitted in water line to conduct the experiment on different flow rates. Coriollis Component Of Acceleration
This set up is designed to study coriollis component of Acceleration of a slider crank Mechanism. The apparatus uses hydraulic analogy to represent the rotating slider. It consists of a rotating block with two arms in opposite direction. These tubes can be rotated at various speeds by using a swinging field motor, which also acts as a dynamometer to measure torque applied to rotating tubes. A Perspex window on top cover helps to visualize the process. Rotameter is used to measure water flow rate through tubes. Water is circulated by small monoblaock pump.
