Male Catheterization Training Simulator
Description
Catheterization Trainer Simulator trainer, male bladder catheterization procedures can be realistically demonstrated, practiced and assessed. The genital inserts are placed into the anatomically correct lower abdominal model and held in place with magnets.The material is soft and flexible:
the foreskin is movable and the penis can be stretched. This way the student can practice all the necessary gestures for catheterization (e.g. disinfection). The material gives a realistic feeling when inserting and removing the catheter into the bladder with realistic resistance and insertion depths.Direct learning:
When the catheter has been correctly inserted, fluid runs out, just like with a real patient. The catheter can also be checked through the transparent bladder. The abdominal wall can be removed so that the process can be viewed better.Various levels of difficulty:
On the male insert, three different levels of prostate narrowing can be set. In the narrowest case, the student can feel that catheterization is no longer possible through the urethra and that a suprapubic catheter will have to be inserted. The test rig comprises of a Single stage air compressor fitted with an air tank with orifice, pressure gauges, and an energy meter to measure the input & a Temperature indicator measures the temperatures at various points. The compressor is mounted on air receiver along with the motor, and is provided with air relief valve (safety) and a pressure switch. DESCRIPTION:-
A pontoon is allowed to float in a small tank having a transparent side. Removable steel strips placed in the model for the purpose of changing the weight of the model. Displacement of weight is measured with the help of a scale. By means of a pendulum (consisting of a weight suspended to a long pointer) the angle of tilt can be measured on a graduated arc. For tilting the ship model, a cross bar with two movable hangers is fixed on the model. Pendulum and graduated arc are suitably fixed at the center of the cross bar. ‘Gravity’ By Free Fall Apparatus
Consists of an electromagnet housed in a plastic moulded case with connections for an external timer, with a heavy steel sphere, and a platform unit.
For determination of 'g' (the gravitational acceleration) by free fall method.
The apparatus consists of an electromagnet which is housed in a plastic moulded case with 4 mm socket connections provided to energize the magnet and another pair of sockets for connection to a timer in use.
To perform the experiment, an electromagnet is energized and a metal sphere is attached.
As soon as the power to the electromagnet is switched off the sphere falls and the unit activates the timer.
When the sphere hits the platform, which is connected to a micro switch, the timer stops and the time of fall can be determined.
